Murray Bridge Golf Club is an 18 hole country course in the Rural City of Murray Bridge, about 76 klm from Adelaide. Course and facilities are well maintained and the club has a reputation for great hospitality. The course is fully irrigated and offers excellent playing conditions all year round. The clubhouse looks out over the course from the main dining room.

Junior Golf
In 2005 the Murray Bridge Golf Club hosted the state's premier regional Junior Team event, the Brett Ogle Cup. The home team went undefeated and qualified for the State Final.

History
A lively and interesting recorded history of the club is available at the Murray Bridge Golf Club website (link above). It offers unique insights into challenges faced by country golf clubs in earlier decades.

Excerpt:
The clubhouse was the ruin of an old straw-thatched barn with only 2 stone walls standing - this was the only shelter in bad weather. During the first winter a crop of self sown oats covered much of the course and fairways were mown through them to make play possible. The rough was often a metre high and it was not uncommon for players to temporarily lose their clubs while searching for balls - if they bothered to.
